Flex-Bolt Sandwich Mounts are comprised of an elastomer bonded between two metal plates. The dynamic and static properties of the unit are determined by the composition and configuration of the elastomer. High-strength bonds and specially compounded elastomers provide high load-carrying capacity and assure long life. Simplicity of design and unitized construction provide low cost mounting systems which are compact, lightweight, easy to install, and maintenance-free. Flex-Bolts can be mounted in shear, compression, or a combination depending on the application. Flex-Bolts come in 3 fastener variations- male/male, male/female or male only (bumper style). Bumpers work as contact points on lifters and ejector shafts and as stops in transporting and elevating equipment. Mount load ratings range from 1 to 236 lbs. in shear and 7 to 1540 lbs. in compression.
