CBA Series Center Bonded Mounts

CBA Series Center Bonded Mounts are heavy duty mounts which isolate vibration, absorb shock and attenuate noise due to structure-borne vibrations. CBA mounts are available in five sizes with load ratings ranging from 100 to 1600 pounds with natural frequencies of 9 to 11 Hz. CBA mounts feature an engineered one piece design, in which a cushion of elastomer is bonded permanently to a tubular steel inner member. This construction assures proper installation of the mount and improves fatigue life over unbonded designs as well as balance stability with resilience to withstand high static and shock loading.
An extension of the elastomer beyond the end of the inner member forms an integral rebound section which accommodates rebound loads and eliminates metal-to-metal bottoming.
When the bolt is tightened to its rated torque, the bonded metal member functions as a spacer to assure correct precompression of the elastomer for optimum performance
