283 Series Platform Mount with Holder are low cost, multi-faceted mounts that are commonly used for industrial, medical, power transmission, electronic, and military applications. They effectively isolate steady state vibration and also absorb occasional shock. Plateforms are widely used to solve energy control problems for all types and sizes of equipment. They are easy to install and available with or without a holder. A holder is used when the supporting member cannot accommodate a hole to clear the flexing element
The metal components for plates and holders are cold rolled steel The steel holders are zinc plated; unplated steel parts are coated with a rust preventative for protection in shipping and storage. The unitized bonded construction offers compactness, space efficiency, and predictable isolating characteristics. Specially compounded elastomers for the flexing element and high strength bonding provide maximum service life.
