Global: The plastics and rubber products manufacturing market is expected to achieve a value of US$ 1682 billion by 2020, according to a new report from the Business Research Company.

At present, the global plastics and rubber products manufacturing market is worth US$ 1460 billion, which represents approximately 21% of the total paper, plastics, rubber, wood and textile manufacturing market.

Of this, plastic products manufacturing occupies a 72% share, the report points out, with rubber products currently at 28%.

‘The manufacturing market is majorly driven by 3D technology,’ the Business Research Company observes.
